Where is reset button located on whirlpool split ac front panel? (Mastermind series chrome). Though I cleaned my filter the "filter" light is still glowing and hence i need to reset it but I am not finding the reset button. Please let me know where reset button would be?

Hi i had the same problem and did exactly as u instructed but its not working. I checked the filters hundred times but there s not a speck of dirt visible. What can it be?
If you didn't turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF, before removing the filter. That is the problem. To clear the error message. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF, unplug the unit, remove the filter and reinstall it. Wait 10 minutes, plug the unit back in, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. The controls should have reset themselves and the clean filter light should not appear.

hi guys i found reset button in whirlpool chrome model split 1.5 ton just you lift the door of ac then you look carefully at the top of right there is a warnig door no need open that just above a button like thing in a hole just press it when ac is on
Open the front Panel, On the extreme right hand side there is a white colour button, press it hard for 2 minutes, make sure your AC power it switch on, the clean filter light will disappear. Do this only after cleaning, drying and reinstalling your filer net. Regards Vipul Prasad
Look real hard on the remote. There is a mini "use a ballpoint pen" push to reset filter button on the remote.
Electronic control panel: (not all models)
Hold the mode button and the Temp Up arrow depressed for about 5 seconds. It should display the temp and the FL should disappear.
Look at your remote carefully. There is a bal pen type push to reset filter button on the remote. Depress the rest button and it should reset. Also on the contol panel you can also reset it by depressing the mode and the UP temp arrow buttons for 5 seconds.
