Cant access the net on my phone my network provider is sun cellular here in Philippines how can i open my gprs??? my gprs in my simcard is open already...

Activate your GPRS
Two ways to activate your GPRS:
1. Text ACTIVATE to 2300
2. Call 200 using your Sun phone or 395-8000 via landline, and a customer service representative
will assist you

Two ways to configure your phone:
1. Text SUN GPRS to 1200.

1) To activate your GPRS, text ACTIVATE to 2300.

2) To configure your handset, text SUN GPRS <handset model> to 1200
or to manually change your settings:
Open PC Suite Select Connect to the Internet. Click Settings button Select Modem on the pull-down list Click Next > button Click Select your network operator from the list. Select Select your network operator from the list. SUN Philippines OR Click Configure the connection manually Click Next > button Enter Access point: minternet Leave User name: <None> Leave Password: <Blank> Click Finish button Click Connect

Since Sun Cellular does not have specific settings for your phone for an automatic configuration, you can still connect to the internet by configuring your device manually. You just have to look for internet settings in your phone and input the configuration as indicated below.

just call the servise provider or the network provider to activate gprs or edge. ask for settings and they will provide you. save the settings in your phone . activate the right settings and use it . hope your problem is solved. happy surfing.

If the phone and its connection are working then please call up the helpline of the service provider (SUN) and request them to activate both GPRS and MMS on your number. And also request them for the settings of GPRS and MMS. MMS is very expensive to use and should be avoided. But if you are happy with it, fine.

All phones need APN setting to make them work for gprs or data functions.
You can find the settings from your network operator and then you can follow this video guide on how to enter APN settings in any HTC phone.
This is a tutorial on how to add APN settings to HTC phones for your network providers. Example phone used is a HTC Hero but process is same for all HTC models.
APN and Data Settings Change for HTC Phones

1. Go to settings -> wireless controls
2. Go to Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names
3. Click Menu and select New APN
4. All you need to add for most networks is just the APN setting which can be obtained from your simcards network provider
5. Press Menu and Save
6. You are ready and have configured data connection settings.

i believe it depends on your network provided.. best thing to do is to call the technical supoort of your provided (smart,sun,globe) and request for the gprs setting to for your phone..

i cant phone my net work provider it takes to long isnt there a nother way to get it on

each service provider has to be able to provider you all with the correct information to get your mms working correctly so call each person mobile providers' help desk support or take the phone into the centers for assistance.
