When I bought this item it stated that you could fix sockets onto the end of Impact Driver. I am unable to see how they fit onto the end of Driver. Is there an attachment made for this purpose? Thank You Gwyn

Yes there are adapters that have the 1/4 inch quick connect that will fit into an impact driver or secure firmly in a drill with chuck. they will come in either 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, or 1/2 inch drive you can easily find these at just about any hardware store like lowes or home depot or if you don't mind waiting a couple days amazon has them for just a couple dollars for all 3

You have to distinguish between Driver and Wrench. Driver has 1/4'' hex hole where you can insert standard bits. Wrench has a 1/2 or 3/8 Square drive and you can put sockets directly on it. Wrenches have usually higher torque compared to drivers. DC827 is driver, you might want to change it for DC822, or you can use adaptor from 1/4 to 3/8 or 1/2 Juraj

Can the water pump housing be removed?

If there's enough room for a socket - try an impact socket on the rounded off bolt. An impact socket can be hammered on to fit and grip.

The cover doesn't come off a water pump. It's a sealed unit.

I Have a Husqvarna model 232 (Year 1998) strimmer which I bought a new clutch for it but I cannot figure out how to remove the old one, Do I need a special tool ? If not anyone able to help me ? Many...

The clutch is threaded onto the end of the crankshaft, with a normal right hand thread, there should be a 19mm nut on the outside to fit a socket, you then just jar the clutch against the compression of the saw until it spins off, if you have an impact gun this will take it off in seconds.

I have just bought a Bosch GDS 18 E Impact Wrench second hand. My question is how do i keep the socket from falling off the anvil.

A hand ratchet wrench uses a ball to hold the socket on the shaft. Impact wrenches use a ring. The ring is needed for the high speeds.
There should be a groove on the end of the socket end. That groove should have a round or flat ring in it. That ring keeps the sockets from falling off. It is missing go to Bosch for a replacement.

What sockets fit

Any sockets will fit the ratchet, 3/8 drive, the impact drive is 1/2 drive, and they make hardened sockets for it. And I can't really make out the last tool there in the kit. The impact tool will take normal sockets for reg duty use but not for wheel lugs and such, they will crack, but if you buy Craftsman, they will replace it. I have only cracked one in thirty years. But I also have the hardened set of sockets. Hope this helps.

Dont know where to put oil in Craftsman 1/2 " Impact wrench

I just bought one of these also. Manual says oil goes into "the air inlet" which I'm thinking is where you attach the hose. That way the oil is sprayed throughout the interior of the gun once you run air through it.
Question for you: I can't get an impact socket onto this gun, almost seems like the square hole is too small. (yes, both are 1/2" drive). How do you get a socket on this stupid thing?
(man that sounds like I'm an idiot, but I've spent a half hour leaning all my body wight, wiggling, etc. and can't get a damn socket on)
