The coffee needs to be ground less fine as the grounds are clogging the filter. Take it apart, clean it out and then try using less ground coffee grounds. The company also has Great customer service and may even send you a new machine if it isn't working after doing this. So try cleaning it and try it again and if that doesn't work, then give them a call about this at 1-800-422-1230 or 1-800-541-6390.

Double check that the removable brew basket is seated before brewing and also check that the carafe is all the way seated on the warming plate.or call 800-541-6390 if issue persist... best i got..!
