Had the same symptom; pump wouldn’t turn off, program light flashing and would stay on even if turned off, only killing the mains power would turn it off. Ended being a small split in drain hose right next to elbow under the unit.
This thread saved us from buying a new one as my wife was about to do...so thank you.

SOURCE: Asko D3230 dishwasher pump will not turn off, with main switch on

This is a anti flood activation. It is a safety device (polystireen float and micro switch at the base of the washer) that keeps the drain motor running due to water leak / spill detection. Dry the water and rectify the leak (normaly pipe or clamp leak) and this should solve the problem.

SOURCE: ASKO D3122 PUMP STAYS ON AND MACHINE WILL NOT SWITCH ON

The machine has activated a safty seq. There is most likely water on the lower buttom. Leakage or drain pipe blocked. The power will get to the drain pump, when this happends. To prevent overflow on your kitchen floor. Dry out the water. Then it will start as usual.

SOURCE: Asko 3120 dishwasher drain pump

this is because ther is a leak from the main tank. Water goes under the main tank, where all electric motors, pipes an pump are. There is sensor in that area that trigger the drain pump. Up to 4 or 5 liters can accumulate in that area.
Only solution is to remove that water by tilting the washer on what ever corner.

D 3100 continues to pump out. Program stops and program button flashes

We have just fixed our Asko 3100 dishwasher. You need to undo the screws attaching the unit to the side cabinets. Pull dishwasher out and tilt forward to drain. Put towels down as lots of water. Machine seems ok now and running on a cycle.

Asko D3122 dishwasher will not fill with water and will not turn off

you may have water under the dishwaher ... have any plumbing work done lately?

if the dishwaher overflows or leaks it will trip a float switch under the dishwasher... as long as it is triped it will run the drain pump.. and not let any water into the tub...

the water will have to be removed and the leak stopped before it will run a cycle....

Hope this helps if not let me know more about your problem..

Asko d/w d3122 Hi gang the overfilling protection has been activated, what can I do to remedy the sitution. regards banger35

Hi,

Have a look to make sure that the pump and drain hose are unblocked. If they are, you might have to call Asko and arrange a service call.

Good luck!
