Just had the same thing after cleaning the oven. Mostlikely, the upper hinge on the left side of the oven door is out of alignment and not hitting the switch. Take the door off and gently bend the upper arm of the hinge inward and it should hit the switch. Otherwise, take of the left side panel (really easy, 6 screws) and you can see for yourself how the upper arm of the hinge hits/ should hit the swithch.

The lamp of won't work

follow the steps and fix it. God bless you

ight Bulb

If the microwave light bulb is not working it is usually located behind the upper grille and behind an access panel, and above the lower panel. On counter top units you will need to remove the outer cover to get to the bulb. If that doesn't solve the problem check the on-off switch, and control board

Main Control Board

If the microwave light bulb is not working check the light bulbs, sockets and wiring. If they are good the main control board might be defective.

Light Bulb Socket

If the microwave light bulb is not working and a new light bulb doesn't solve the problem, the light bulb socket might be burned out and need to be replaced.

I HAVE PAYED $20 TO GET SOME HELP WITH MY DASH LIGHTS NOT WORKING. ALSO MY PARKING LIGHTS WON;T COME ON. ALSO MY FOG LIGHTS WON;T COME ON. I HAVE ASK YOU SEVERAL TIMES TO HELP ME. IT MAKES ME THINK. YOU...

Sorry about that, I must have missed your post or something. The park lights and the panel lights are usually on the same fuse and therefore on the same switch. The fog lamps are on a separate fuse and switch/circuit, although the is nothing to prevent either of the fuses going at the same time. Look at the fuses first, if they are blown replace them, but if they blow again some more investigation will be required. The parking lamps/panel lights are unlikely to have a relay, but the fog lights may.

The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the fuses you are looking for should be around 15 to 20 amps.

I have microwave oven model no EM-C8787B and light bulb has blown and am trying to detect it I take it i will have to take outer cover of can u help it would be most appreciated

Replacement of the lamp should be carried out by a qualified appliance repair service.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

Attempt this only if you are competent.

But here is a basic method if you are mechanically minded and have electrical safety knowledge.

The lamp is sat in a housing and its position is adjacent to the vent holes that it shines through.
If you feel confident, disconnect it from the mains power, remove anything in the cavity.
Remove the microwave cover. Purchasing a new replacement lamp will be useful as it will give you an idea of what it looks like. Locate the dead lamp remove the lamp and fit the new one. Replace the covers. Plug it back in and try the lamp by opening the door.
Hope this helps.

I have 2 'Madonna and child' standard lamps, whose halogen bulbs have all blown. Replaced them carefully - not touching the bulbs, but NONE of the lights work. Any ideas please? Thanks!

These could be low voltage lamps if so they have a transformer normally mounted in the base it sounds like this has blown not the lamps.
Another common cause is burning of the lamp holders especially if the lamps are wire ended..

MICROWAVE BULB

Hi There!
Most microwave ovens today requires you to remove the cover to replace a lamp. Normally situated next to the Magnetron. Check the inside cavity for tiny holes where the light is suppose to shine through. This will indicate where the lamp is situated. Remember to unplug from mains before opening the unit and try not to touch the High Voltage components. They may still be charged. Good Luck, JUS004
