Tv turns on by itself

If it does not have any sleep timers set then it is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.

Let me ask a question.
Is the time of day arrow pointing at the time of day right now?
If not, you can reset the time wheel by I think pulling it away from the body and rotating it.
If so, can you simply adjust the timer so that when it goes to the next day (10pm) it is really midnight and change any start times accordingly.
Do you need the 12 minutes between zones?

ALARM AND HOURLY CHIME INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Press and hold MODE until HOURS digits, DAY, and A or P (for AM or PM) flash.
   
   
2. Press ADJUST to change HOURS digits. Go through 12 hours for AM or PM.
   
   
3. Press START/STOP to select MINUTES.
   
   
4. Press ADJUST to change.. Press MODE when done.
   
   
5. Press and hold ADJUST, then press START/STOP to turn chime on/off.
   
   
6. Press START/STOP again to turn alarm on /off.
   
   
7. Release START/STOP when done.

Sounds like it could be overheating. Verify that the vents are not covered and there is plenty of space around the TV. Make sure there is nothing sitting on top of it.

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
