I recently purchased a alante mobility chair for $25.00. When I turn it on it constantly beeps. Your tech support thought it was set for burglar mode but later said I totally baffled them, they did not know & to speak to Medical Mobility repair at 915 N Vail Arlington Hts., Il at 847 275 8843. This number tells me to try back later. Yellow pages listed another number but that is disconected. Do not know were to go Winnie 847 486 1300 (Cell) or [email protected]

If you cannot reach local Technical support, Contact Golden Technologies at 800-624-6374 for assistance. Was the power chair working, then stopped? Are there any flashing lights? Have you charged the battery?
Good luck!

My Alante Jr power chair stopped working. when plugged in ,the charger light is green which means a full charge but the led lights all ten of them on arm continuous go from side to side without stopping....

The batteries are too low for the charger to work. You need to take the batteries out and charge them separately with an automotive battery charger. This may take 2 or more days for each battery. When the voltage on the battery gets past 10 volts, you can put them back in the chair and finish the charging with it's charger.

No power post tilted backwards

Check the cable leading from the joystick control to the base of the chair. You more than likely disconnected that cable.

My Alante cuts off/stops when I hit a bump. I have to turn it off and restart all over again until i hit the next bump. this is very annoying and dangerous if i hit a bump crossing the street as I am stuck...

More than likely there is a loose connection somewhere. It could be at the batteries, the joystick or both. First I would need to know if it is an Alante or an Alante Jr.

Can you provide me with the serial number off the unit?

Which is the best travel power chair that medicare will pay for?

1st off, Medicare only pays 80% of the cost of the chair and they set the price. Typically you will have to pay around $900. I would suggest that you look at the Pride mobility Traveller, the Golden Tech Alante Jr and the Merits Health Travel ease.

THERE IS A TINY YELLOW LIGHT THAT IS FLASDHING 6 TIMES

Depending on your joystick that is either a right brake fault or a controller fault.  Try turning it off, pull both brakes out of and back into drive mode and then turn it back on.  If that doesn't fix it then you may need to get a tech out there to look into it.
