Re: My grinder just stopped grinding... turned it on,...
- DIAGNOSIS
- it can be too tight stringed at burrs
- some stone or metal part with coffee went between burs
- IF IT IS AUTOMATIC, it can be one of 2 micro-switches or main relay, in this case you have power but only to middle of way.
SOLUTIONS
- Release the burrs, grind one amount coffee with bigger granulation than go back again carefully.
- Disassemble the upper burr holder and clean carefully, all coffee and remains put in one plate, inspect with magnet, hand and than put all that in water. (heavy parts fell down fast in water)
- Check the switches and relay:
- Upper micro-switch has an plate and one box where it is( box might be full of coffee or the plate blocked and giving the signal of full doser every time)
- Lower micro-switch should activate every 6th pull of doser(he is below in mechanism of doser)
- Relay gets power from micro-switches when they command. even we switch on if the commandsof micro-switch says off than relay will not obey us.
