Cant get LG energy star dehumidifier up and running. Plug it in and seems like no power going to it. What can I do???

I see that you have a Frigidaire dehumidifier and the green power light stays on except it is not working. Typically, you have to set the dehumidifier in order to operate. What does your display say? If you can provide me with any additional information I would be happy to assist you. -Matt

according to the user manual the dehumidifier will not stop running for the following 5 reasons:

• Windows or doors near dehumidifier are open to outdoors.
• Area to be dehumidified is too large.
• Air movement through dehumidifier is blocked.
• Dehumidifier has been installed or restarted recently.
• Dehumidifier is in the CONTINUOUS mode.

Well my unit is a 45Pint Model M7DH45B2A - REC-CY, I searched high and low for a date but couldn't find one. It had on it, the stats, On the High side it runs 400 PSI, Low side 150 PSI.
Mine does have an Energy Star Sticker. It was purchased 2005 or 06. We've only had to replace relay switch once and that was last year.

Probably some glitch with the sensors. I recommend taking it to a service center.

new dehumidifier usally have the STAR!
