I have a 2 yr old LG dishwasher model LD-1204M1. We have noticed that the dryer function is stuck on permanently even before we have selected a program and during a program. After a cycle finished the dishwasher would not turn on until sometime later. Any advice or ideas what could be wrong? Thanks

Sounds like you've diagnosed the solution on your own.. Most of the inlet valves are spring loaded so that if power is removed or disabled.. it defaults to a closed state and doesn't allow water int the wash basin. To open, they need to be energized by the control system so you may have one of two issues.. a faulty inlet valve that doesn't spring closed when it is not energized or a controller that is comanding that valve to open ( less likely of the two) For a quick test.. make sure the DW is dry inside and open the door. wait and watch for water to enter the basin.. If it does begin to fill up.. your inlet valve could be the root of your problem.. It is also possible that you are back-siphoning waste water in from the drain system. If the water looks dirty then that is more than likely the problem so you may have a clogged pump, kinked drain hose or your drain system itself is not draining as fast as the DW pump forces the water out.
You should routinely clean the pump filter so that the pump can remove all the wash water without having to draw it thru food debris caught in the filter.. Hope someof these ideas will help you solve your problem..

Noisey dishwasher. LG model LD-1204M1. Wasn't this noises when new.

It's hard to tell in the video but what kind of noise is it? Do it sound like it's out of level? I would reach your hand under the dishwasher and screw or unscrew the "feet" to keep it from wobbling. Otherwise, if it's the machine itself, not sure IF you can do anything.

LG dishwasher LD-2120WHU I get the

This happens to my LG dishwasher every 6 months or so. It also makes a groaning sound as if the system is starved for water. The resolve the problem by removing the dishwasher and laying it over on it's right side. I then remove the two plastic assemblies that are on the left side and I remove them from the dishwasher (you will need a vice grips to remove the hose clamps from behind them, you will also need to remove the round circular water intake plastic disk that is on the inside of your dishwasher on the left hand side right in the middle of the left wall) and clean them. Once the water can run freely through these plastic parts you will get a good water flow and you should be fine. Until you have time to do this I recommend putting a few quarts of hot water into your dishwasher once you start to hear the groaning problem. This solution should be very easy for anyone who is comfortable doing their own oil change. Oh, and turn off the power supply first.

Bottom spray arm on our LG dishwasher LD-14AW3 won't spin.

sounds like no water going into the machine. you may need a water inlet valve.

LG Dishwasher Model LD-1403W gets stuck and stops on rinse cycle leaving water in bottom of machine. I have stripped it down and emptied it, made sure filters etc are clean but to no avail

LG Dishwasher LD 1403W. We have cleaned it and when it gets to the heating cycle after running right through to nearly the end, it trips all the electricity and stops everything. Its only 3 years old and hubby thinks its the heating element but between $200=$300 to fix.

NEED TO SORT OUT LEAK FIRST AS THIS HAS ACTIVATED YOUR SUMP LIMIT SWITCH. THE CYCLE WILL NEVER PROCEED OTHERWISE.
