How do I change the lock to operate with my existing kwikset keys. I have three other Smartcode locks all keyed alike and would like this new deadbolt to take the same key as well.

Kwikset locks are inexpensive because they do not have replaceable parts. Buy a new one.
By the time the lock breaks, it's probably time to get different keys, but if you have so many keys in the hands of people you cannot contact, or you have more than three other locks keyed alike, and you must have the new lock work with the same keys as before, the place where you buy new locks probably has someone who can rekey the new lock to your old keys. Kwikset also sells locks that you can rekey to other Kwikset keys yourself. They are more expensive than other locks of the same type, but could save money long term, especially if you find a need to rekey your locks a lot (lots of visitors, part-time tenants or roommates, your kids lose their keys a lot, etc.)
Here is an excellent video of how to install, hand, and program the Smartcode 909. It includes switch controlled features of the lock: http://www.kwikset.com/Videos/Vitro/smartcode.aspx
Under the Troubleshooting steps at the bottom, you will see this text:
Q: I just completed the installation of a Smart Code unit on my door; I am unable to operate it manually, although I checked for smooth bolt operation during installation. What should I do? A: You need to run the "Bolt Direction" routine again; allow the process to run to completion see Section 8 in User's Manual.
So please go through the installation instruction's Section 8 again. (Remove the battery pack first.) It is important to follow this procedure very carefully for success!
If you feel that you are following all steps correctly but the lock is still not functioning properly, please contact the Kwikset Customer Support:
I have included a link to the installation instructions for the Kwikset
909 lock. I think that if you go through the installation instruction
routine carefully, you will solve your problem. Pay particular attention
to Step 8, the synchronization routine.
If, after following the instructions for replacing the batteries and reprogramming the lock it still doesn't work for you, I suggest contacting Kwikset Customer Support: Kwikset Corporation
