The orange light is blinking. Above the light is a triange with an exclamation point in it. I have tried deleting and reloading the printer and that doesnt work.

The lights on the front of the HP product can be on, off, or blinking (flashing), depending on the status of the product. The lights indicate product status and are useful for diagnosing printing problems.

Lexmark 6500 orange blinking light

Blinking orange on the WiFi light means one of the following:

The printer is out of the range of the wireless access point (wireless router)
The printer is trying to communicate with the wireless access point but the wireless access point is turned off or not working properly.
Either the configured printer of the wireless access point has been turned off and back on, and the printer is trying to establish communications with the network.
The wireless settings of the printer may no longer be valid.

Won't print, orange triangle with exclamation point

This triangle light blinking indicates that a door is open. Open the front access door completely. Close the front access door completely. Open the rear door and close it.

If this didn't fix it refer to this guide for all errors you get with this printer from HP website.

Blinking Orange Exclamation Point on 04 4runner

Since your question is listed as a 1999 Saturn SL and a Toyota 4Runner, I will answer both:

1999 Saturn SL
Typically the orange exclamation point dash warning light is indicating a problem with your brakes, parking or hand brake. Check to ensure that your emergency brake is completely disengaged.
Check to ensure proper brake fluid level.
Otherwise this could be indicating a problem with the ABS system.

04 Toyota 4Runner
Low tire air pressure. Inflate to approximately 32 PSI should correct your problem.

The orange light keeps blinking and won't go back

This could be signaling that the toner is empty. Replace the toner and see if the light goes back to green. Hope this helps.

Do you have a Mac OS X?
Maybe you just need to reinstall the driver. Download it through the following link:
http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/7584/

the yellow blinkin exclaimation point is usually an indication that there is a printer cartridge problem. It usually means the ink is low.

Error light

it detected an error. try opening the paper tray to see if there are paper jammed. take out the the drum with powder and and turn off the printer. then put all back in place and turn on printer. usually the hp network printer is installed on the server. check on the server if you see on error from the hp driver program.

Do you have a new toner cartridge loaded? The red/orange light will blink when toner is low, even if everything else is working fine. Try printing out a test sheet and see what that tells you about your toner level. (Test sheep prints by holding the orange button down a second or two and releasing.)

Since I'm mainly printing drafts for my own use, I've just let the light blink while I eke out whatever I can from the remaining toner (occassionally removing the cartridge and shaking it -- being careful of clothes and surroundings -- to re-distribute the toner on the inside.
