Have 10 white spots on left side of screen guessing pixels going out .can this be repaired or time to look for another tv.

Dead pixels in the LCD wafer; common issue with LCD televisions as they age. Replace the LCD wafer or consider purchasing a new television.

Sounds like you are describing stuck/dead pixel.

There is no fix, it is a Pixel gone out in display panel, good chance it is just stuck and will right itself but sadly sometimes they dont and the only fix is to replace the entire display panel
Manufactures warrant such defects different depending on amount of dead pixels on screen is considered faulty, ie 3 pixels grouped or 5 separate ones .

I am afraid that the dark spot in the screen is not repairable. Manage as long as you can or go for a new tv.

could be a dead pixel you can some times get them back by tapping the pixel with the stylus off a nintendo ds have the tv on a white screen when doing it so you can see when it has worked. need to tap just the pixel square do it to each pixel.

A dirt spot, use hot water on a soft cloth to clean it.

Dead pixels, you can try this, keep moving between screen and sometimes this will unstick bad pixels.


Go here, then click F11, now RT click mouse button as fast as your finger can. do it like 20 times.

Now click F11 on the page that shows the words dead pixel test.
If they are still there you will need to check your warranty and see how many the company allows before they will fix.

No fix is possible is the pixels are burning out and replacing the bulb as I did was a costly no help repair. I finally watched it till it got so bad and i donated it to good will wish I had better news.

Not possible.Tv have damages to it LCD screen panel by an object or a person have causes by forced or putting pressure to the tv LCD screen panel itself to causing colors picture pixels and it radiation to died to causing this problems.Sorry it time to buy a new tv,because by replacing the tv LCD screen panel itself will cost u the same as a new tv.Tries buy a new tv from the VIZIO tv corporation directly return the damages LCD panel tv to them,u could get a 5 or 10% off of the tv prices.

It's a bad pixel spot. I have a TV that has a dark spot.
Nothing you can do about it.

its a light engine starting to fail it will require replacement

dirty lens, dirty mirrors, warped light guides, spider webs and mini-UFOs that fly across the inside can cause what you described.

but 6 months is pretty early for a cleaning but possible.
