I have a Opticon barcode scanner from Shop and Scan. when i first got it, i tried to transmit the barcodes and kept getting an error 3, after unistalling it and restarting my computer a number of times. i was then told to go into manages add ons and delete the add on. now this got it running without a problem, but now everytime i try to tranmit the barcodes, i now get a error 2 message. i have go through all their help guides on these error codes and nothing has worked.

There is more than one way for that imager to send data to the computer. Are you using USB, serial, or is there a little box that goes between your existing keyboard and the PC that accepts the scanner connector?

Did you ever get it to transmit the barcodes?
I'm having very much the same problem. Got the error 3 message first, then was told to delete the add on in manage add ons. Now i get an error 2.
