Base System Device drivers are usually installed by what the manufacturer calls "Chipset" drivers. If you are running Windows XP, there is an Intel Chipset driver available at the Lenovo Support Page for your model. If you are running an Operating System other than Windows XP, I would go to the above page and compare the drivers listed there with what you are seeing in Device Manager. Install the ones that are missing. Hope this helps!
You can go to http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-67131.html. It looks like you forced to upgrade your system to Windows 7 since its only good for XP and Vista in terms of driver. What you cna do is try the vusta driver here and see if it will work for you. Thanks
Hi. you might need to download all the drivers for your laptop. To download them you can go to the Lenovo driver support website where you can download every software and drivers for your laptop. you just need to enter the serial no of your machine and the model. Here's the website consumersupport.lenovo.com. Just download every drivers for your machine but remember to choose the correct operating system for you machine. Hope this helps
"Base System Device" is your card reader, I had the same problem. If you dont use it jst disable the device, otherwise the drivers should be on your alienware Master CD, if not get a tech support guy to send 'em to you.
You should have recived a Cdf or the phone, try installing the software from it, that will install the driver and maybe some special application as well, you may need a restart and than it should work.
