I need 14" strainer basket brinkmann - Brinkmann 815-3786-0 Turkey Fryer

I believe this uses a standard 3 1/2 inch diameter basket strainer.That is also the right size for the disposal. Thank you

If you need new sink strainer basket for disposal side of sink, you have to buy new disposal.

Each garbage disposal comes with its own strainer basket so that disposal can connect and seal.

First, the disposal strainer basket is installed, and then disposal lifts up and attaches from below.
A rubber gasket comes with new disposal.
Rubber gasket fits between disposal and strainer basket so that disposal seals correctly.

Not sure what you are asking. If it is broken it can be replaced, any hardware store would carry it. If it is leaking, try using plumbers putty. Roll it between your hands like play-dough. Roll it into long skinny string about a pencil width, and place it under the lip of the basket strainer where it makes contact with the inside of the sink. Proceed to tighten from underneath. Keep the basket strainer as still as you can. Remove excess putty.

I would suggest you replace the entire basket strainer. I can honestly say that in 30 years I have never seen two that were alike.

You will need to have the entire basket strainer drain assembly replaced.

Bronze is more expensive than standard mass production is worth, i supposed if you want them made out of any mat. you can call kohler and pay for it, i've been to their plant and they do some pretty awsome custom work.
Rubbed oil is just a color and somtimes "you get what you pay for" if you buy a cheap basket strainer they usually do exactly what you're saying.
You can buy more expensive strainers that have a better finish, I know Kohler and Moen have lifetime warranty finish on many of their higher end products.

You should purchase a complete basket strainer assembly. Home Depot or Lowes have some very nice ones. They are a standard size.
Tell them it's for your kitchen sink.

can you clarify that, i am not sure what part of a basket strainer dimension you are refering to. the dimensions of a basket strainer are related to the standards of the fixtures they are installed on. It has to be designed to work on different thickness of materials; thick materials such as cast iron or marble and thin materials like stainless steal and pressed steal. I have experiensed some strainers that do not meet this and are not deep enough to fit thick materials o r do not tighten enough to handle then materials.

Turn the swimming pool pump off and wait for the water to drain from the strainer basket. You want to make sure that the pump is completely off before you proceed. Remove the screws or any items securing the lid of the strainer basket. Open the lid and pull out the strainer basket. Vacuum the strainer basket or scoop out any debris. You may want to run clear water through the basket to ensure you removed all debris. Feel toward the impeller and remove any clogs or obstructions preventing the impeller from working properly. Check the o-ring under the cover of the pump strainer housing. You may need to use a silicon lubricant to ensure a water-tight seal. Put the strainer basket back into the pump strainer housing and pour some water into the basket. Replace the lid and secure it in place. Turn the swimming pool pump on and check for proper pressure. If your pressure doesn't register, you may need to troubleshoot to find the problem.
