Hi:
at the bare minimum, you can upgrade it with a PCI graphics card. That would plug into one of your spare white PCI slots, and they make those with atleast 256mb of memory ( When shopping for one, dont confuse a PCI video card with a PCI express card) I couldn't find enough info on what exact board you have, as they used several, but many had a brown AGP memory slot, which is a better option for you. Keep in mind, also, that if you upgrade the video card and memory , you might need to upgrade your power supply too, due to the higher current requirements of the new card and memory.

If all else fails, bring your tower to a computer shop, and they will usually tell you what you need for free, with hopes to sell a upgrade!

Grapics software problem not supported game

There is nothing you can do about that. Buy the new version compatible with your computer, or upgrade your graphics card.

Can i install a grapics card into a HP compaq presaro CQ61?

Generally speaking, one of the downsides of laptops is that you cannot upgrade the video on it. I'm pretty sure you're out of luck on this one. If you want a laptop with better graphics, you'll probably have to go buy a new laptop.

Well i installed my grapics card.. it was running fine for a few days .. Then i started getting the analog power savings mode over and over.. pls helo

An outdated computer system would malfuntion after installing a new graphic card because is incompartible. As matter of fact, a new graphic card would card picture blank out with older model capacity computers. It is not possible to increase grapics to certain computer systems. Dos operating systems would hardly display any pixles than digits. Check on the computer compartibility operating systems, maximum graphics capacities before introducing the most updated version packs on the retails.

Not recognise memory for windows XP.

the 4260 takes PC2700 DDR. not PC3200, also the 4260 take only memories with special chip buildin for that particular motherboard.

I have an ibm thinkpad t41 laptop i upgraded to a 1gig ram i want to know if the grapics card can be changed or upgraded . I am trying to run 7 wonders game and it freezes up

the graphics cards really cant be upgraded with out major work. The game you want to run needs 512 of dedicated video memory, not shared as a laptop uses.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Mark
