Is there a way I can take the fan apart to clean it and put it away for the winter? I am afraid I'll ruin it if I get it wet.

Ruined no, you need to dry it out though. You should disconnect any batteries right away to avoid further damage and you also need to get wd40 and spray everything electrical that got wet.

normally...one could take the whole dryer apart its..fairly easily put back together but at the same time you maybe able to clear all the lent out of the dryer even out of th heating element as well....done this before with a dryer that had an issue with the rollers being ruined...

If you know how to take the carb off/disassemble it and check "o"rings for replacement you'll be good to go. You may have to buy a carb rebuild kit for your model. I have done several snow blowers this way and they start right up in the coldest weather -10. Use carb cleaner to clean it out and you may get lucky. Make sure to clean the emulsion tube under needle and seat. always run fuel empty for winter. use pumper and run a ll fuel out, if not use fuel stabilizer for summer or winter storage.

Make sure there are no mouse nests in the unit. The mildew can be killed with Lysol spray or the like. Pay particular attention to the filter if it was moist or wet. You can clean the condenser fins with a vacuum. You can a fan next to the unit to disperse any moisture. Move the fan around the unit.

With no suction you should check the venturis. They can become clogged if you suck up wet dust, wet cat litter, etc. You\'ll need a Torx Screwdriver to get it apart. See where that gets you.

If you have cleaned all the hoses out then I am afraid that the cat food has chewed up the impeller inside the pump. Replace the pump and all should be good. Here is a link to the new pump.

Clean your air tower fan by using small paint brush and wet rag(s). Turn off power and unplug, then open the fan by using screw driver either flat or crossed type. Eliminate dust and dirt using paint brush and rub it with wet rags. When disassembling put screws in box and be observant so that you'll able to assemble it later. Do not wipe motor with wet rags only the propeller, front back cover and so on.

I have a flymo 430 petrol strimmer and cannot start it. ive cleaned the filter, put in new plug it went first time and then stopped and wont start again the plug seems to get wet all the time any ideas

I took mine outside and hosed it down real good and then let it air dry for a day or 2. worked great! it was filthy!!! and that dang screw made it impossible for me to fully take it apart to clean it, so I decided it was either the hose or throw it away. mine was incredibly dusty and i was able to use a hose with a power nose and spray it really good. we'll see how long it works :)

What I would recommend is a shoe cleaner. Try THIS cleaner, they have suede cleaner conditioner and leather lotion. They get great reviews and can help keep your shoes clean and new looking. You can always use a waterproofer so that next time the dogs **** does not stain. You can find everything you would need on the ECCO shoe website.
