I had a paper jam
Problem with the PIXMA? iP6009D All-In-One InkJet Printer
I had a paper jam and removed paper. I still get "paper jam remove paper from paper eject" but there absolutely is no paper left in my Canon Pixma printer. Could the jam sensor have been damaged and if so how much is cost to replace?
Hello, I will advice you Press and hold the "Resume" button on the printer. Press and hold the "Power" button while holding down "Resume."
Release the "Resume" button. Press "Resume" twice. The indicator light will turn amber followed by green.
Release the "Power" button. Press the "Resume" button four times.
Press the "Power" button. The printer is now reset, and your printer should work fine.
Margaret: Unfortunately didn't work. I tried 10 times. Wit variations.
I assume I start with power on then press resume, hold then press power then release resume.
Press resume twice. Light is green then turns back to orange.
Release power button (does this turn it on or off? I did both ways)
When press resume 4 times I assume power is on but I tried both ways.
Get same message "paper ejection slot. Paper jam. Clear paper jam and press resume"
I have thoroughly checked and there is no paper. Any more advice
I thoroughly checked and there is no paper left in the printer - any other ideas? Unplug the machine. Remove paper trays. Open all the doors, slide the carrier and remove the cartridges' and print head. Use a flashlight and look for a small piece of torn paper. Clean the rubber feed roller with a soapy cloth. Replace the paper with new from an unopened pack as what you have may be damp. Put it all back together and try again.
Put off the machine and gradually remove the paper. If any piece of the paper is cut in the process, it must be removed else the printer would continue reading paper jam. Thanks.

see if you can open a back door on the feed side. sounds like a paper is not feeding properly inside and must be removed.
Would be nice to know the model, make.
