Frigidaire Washer - FTF2140FS1 - fills with water, but won't complete cycle

check the cold water solenoid is allowing water into the machine,this can happen even when the machine is not in use

From my understanding your Frigidaire frontload washer is not spinning the final spinning and the clothes are still wet. If you washer is overloaded it will not spin properly to release the water out of the clothes. Also, a small load will cause your washer to not spin properly. You should additionally check the drain hose to make sure it not kinked or twisted that could cause your improper draining. If all that checks properly it could be an issue with your drain pump, motor, and control panel. I would suggest consulting with a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. The most probable reason the washer is not filling is because of a blown fuse that is part of the lid switch asm. By UNPLUGGING THE WASHER and removing the 2 INNER screws on the the control panel and the control panel can be rotated down to see the fuse in the lid switch asm. Here is where the fuse is on the switch asm. its circled in red

Tim, the machine probably has a double water valve. One for detergent and one for softener. I'd check that they're both working.......Nomess

it will fill but won,t spin, will throw out water as if it washed, then it take water to rinse but won,t spin ,then will throw out water as if it did , but clothes are soaked

check the water faucets on the wall and make sure that both hot and cold are completely open.
check the water inlet hoses for any kinks or leaks.
