You need to format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Once it is erased, your card should work properly.

How do I clear the internal memory?

This should do it - this comes from the manual Formatting will do what you want.

Formatting an SD Memory Card or Internal Memory This utility formats the internal memory (or memory card) and erases all stored images and data. 1. Press the button to turn on your ViviCam 3785. 2. Press the MODE button twice to enter [ ] Playback mode. Then press the button to enter the Playback menu. 3. Select [Delete] by using the / buttons, and press the button. 4. Select [Format ] by using the / buttons, and press the button. 5. If you want to format your SD memory card or the internal memory choose [OK] by pressing / buttons, then press the button to confirm. To cancel the action, select [Cancel] instead. [No Image] pops up after the SD memory card or internal memory has been formatted. Note: Be sure the SD memory card is properly inserted into the camera before formatting it. To format the internal memory, be sure to remove your SD memory card first. Formatting will erase all information (even unrelated , non-camera data) from the memory/card. For complete compatibility, be sure NOT to select FAT 32 as the file system when you format the SD card in your computer. Memory cards formatted in FAT 32 file system will not be recognized by this ViviCam 3785.

I hav inserted the memory card into the camera. but wen i click pictures all the photos go into the internal memory. i want the pictures to go into the memory card. how do i do it

Make sure your card is correctly formated, in fat32.
If this is the case, and if it is a SD card, try to change the position of the small plastic bit on the left side of the card, it should be unlocked (up position) in order to accept anything to be writen on it.

If this didn't solve the problem, look up your camera manual to find the option that lets you decide which memory to use.

Hope this helps.

I have put a new sd card in my camera, and its says memory is full. What could be wrong.

A few things can be happening first the SD card may have the lock switch in the lock position I'm including a diagram to show the correct positioning.

The next thing is you said you put a new SD card in. All memory cards need to be formatted to the camera they are going to be used in formatting cleans the card (yes I know it's new) and makes it compatible to the camera. Also each time you download pictures to the computer the memory card needs to be formatted to re clean the memory card and make it ready to accept new pictures. One other thing your camera has a small capacity in todays standards and the largest SD card I see being used is a 256mb, if the new card is larger then 256mb this could be the problem as well. If this is the case then it might be possible to update the camera firmware. However it would be a whole lot easier to purchase a 256mb card. Format the new card making sure the lock is in the right position and continue on as you have been.

I have a Kodak easyshare m320 which I recieved today. I bought an SD card to go with it because the internal memory is really small. Near the card port, it says it accepts SD cards, and it also says this...

First, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert the card and do the "format" thing again to optimize the card for the camera. Now, it should work properly.

It says the memory card needs formatting but when i go to format it this error occurs, FILESYS ERROR e00100

The Kodak Z612 only accepts standard SD cards up to 2GB. As you rightly point ot the physical charactreristics are identical, its the internal format of the card that defines SDHC.

Standard SD cards use FAT - which has a 2GB limit.
SDHC cards use FAT32 - which has a limit of 32GB.

Stick with 2GB or smaller standard SD cards.
