I had the same problem. Update program is most likely not designed for Windows 7. I've launched it in Windows XP (SP3) compatibility mode and it did the work just fine.

I have a Jam error on an Epson Aculaser C3000

It could be a damaged or defective jam sensor but more likely a tiny scrap of paper stuck in an inaccessible part of the paper path. You may have to open up as much of the paper path as possible and shine a bright light inside to locate the culprit.

Hi Colin.

I just have had the same problem with my Aculaser C4200.
I may have found a way to solve you problem.
Just print 10 blank (without anything), and after that i took all toner's, the fuser etc. and put it back again. Printed 10 more blank pages, and printed over 200 pages with lot of tekst and colour (think that 50 pages could do it).
After 2 days everything is still ok for me.

How do I fix a paper jam cef for epson aculaser cxn11nf?

Diagram of doors should be above control panel of printer.

Lift ADF/Scanner up. Open door "C" just below it. Lift orange photoconductor lever up to release photoconductor. Lift photo conductor up towards you. Inspect for jammed paper and remove if necessary. Replace photoconductor, close lever and door "C".

Open door "E" on rear of printer and look for jammed paper and remove. Close door "E".

Last place to look is in paper tray. Take stack of paper out and look for paper jam. Removed as needed.

These are the three places i have had jams and you will only find the jam in one of them. Most likely it will be in back in Door E

C3000

Hi Marko, the issue has been sorted fully by a fairly simple update to the firmware. There is a complete solution available from the address below. I spent ages messing around trying to find the correct fix for the firmware. I came across the solution below and found it 100% effective for the machines I have used it on.

http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/4942713-epson-c3000-c4100-jam-at-fuser-rescue

It's not a free fix, but it is damn cheap, and I can vouch for the fact that it works.

Paper Jam at A but nothing there

If you clear the jam and close the machine up again, does the print job eventually print OK. You may have to clear the jam several times before the machine prints it successfully. After the first successful print, does the machine then print ok, until the next time it is left idle for some time? If this is the case, I have a fix for you

Papaer will not feed

High ITConsult And MarkoP

The high pitched whine and the paper stopping just before the fuser (the hot) unit is a known issue on the C3000 and C4100. If you are still searching for the solution to this issue, let me know, as I now have a working fix for the problem.

How to fix paper jam Epson CX3650?

Please perform the below steps.

1. Switch off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Allow any residual charge inside the all-in-one printer to dissipate before putting your hands or any metal tools inside the chassis.

2.
Pin down the exact location of the jam. The 3 hot spots for a jam are before a sheet completely leaves the paper tray, anywhere between the feed tray and print carriage or between the print carriage and output tray.

3.
Take off the front paper tray if the sheet jammed while still in the front area of the printer. If here, you should be able to see most of the paper.

4.
Pull the sheet with both hands and steady pressure. Do not tug as you might rip the paper, leaving a piece deeper inside the machine.

5.
Open the back panel to reach paper jammed between the feed-tray area and print carriage. Carefully remove the jammed paper.

6.
Use the carriage access door to get at a jam further inside the printer. You may need to remove the print carriage to get to the jam.

7.
Replace all parts and return any access panels to their closed and locked positions. Plug your printer back in and flip the power switch.
