SOURCE: blackberry 8310 does not type letters

Personally, if there is not much on the BB, entering the other 3 bad passwords with start a Master Reset on the unit, and that may fix your problem with the keyboard. If you have data on the phone you want to save, I would try syncing it first before doing the master reset.

SOURCE: keyboard

I'm guessing that you just have a shortage. I recommend you go to where ever you got it from andhave them fix it or give you a new phone.

Keyboard double letter

Likely just a bad keyboard. Good news is that keyboard are really cheap for most laptops.

Viruses can do all kinds of weird things, they usually don't mess with the operation of the keyboard though.

This afternoon my laptop was working fine, then the keyboard started messing up, when I pressed any letter it came up with 4 other letters. Then i pressed '9' once and it continuously typed 9 until I

First thing I would ask is this. Was anything spilled on the key board? I had a situation similar to this and I found that my son spilled a Sprite and wiped it up but didn't tell me about it. One way to check this is to hook an aftermarket keyboard that runs off your USB2 port and see if the keys work correctly that way. If they do, I would suspect that something was spilled into your laptop keyboard.

Blackberry curve 8520, the a button works on and off and it types a's when i type other letters, whats wrong? please help

if you carry the blackberry in your pocket it collect lint and dirt. blow the keyboard with compressed air to clean the key board. blackberrys are very susceptible to moisture, sweat, body heat which cause moisture. so they should be in a holder on your belt or in a purse

I forgot my password for when i turn on my blackberry 9700

Do whatever you can to remember it.  After a certain number of attempts, it will ask you to type in blackberry then give you a couple more attempts to get your password.

After the 10th attempt, if you get the password wrong, it will have you type in blackberry again and it will completely wipe your Blackberry of all your personal data and it will reload itself back to factory default.

If your password has numbers in it, make sure you are pressing the ALT button down to make sure you are typing in a number, or plug your Blackberry into the computer with Desktop Manager installed and attempt to type in your password using the computer keyboard.

Basically, this is a security measure in case someone gets a hold of your Blackberry and attempts to break in to get your personal information.  RIM Blackberry does NOT have your password, so unfortunately a RIM tech support agent cannot retrieve your password.

Hopefully you have created a backup of your Data using the Desktop Manager, so if you cannot remember your password and the device wipes itself, you can restore your data from the backup with the Desktop Manager

Blackberry types wrong two letters on answer, trackpad, a etc.

Try Software. Most likely software problem, water damage would mess it up worse. Try googleing it, and useing blackberry support forums. On my old Windows Mobile phone, the ROM has many of those glitches. Your best bet would be a backup > Soft Reset > Hard Reset > Then check it. If problem persists, Do what i said above about the support forums, they will help you with software to reset keyboard

Letter such as "e" or "p" of the keyboard, among others, stopped working few hours ago. My BB Bold was bought in Jan09, and it has not been exposed to damages. Now I cannot have access to my BB Bold 'cause...

Try getting some canned air and blowing out the keyboard. Make sure the can is held upright and does not tilt while blowing it out. If that doesn't work, bring it to your carrier store for repair, or call Blackberry support.

I can't dial out.

The Phone application on the BlackBerry smartphone automatically converts phone numbers that include letters into the associated numbers.
To key a phone number that contains letters, press the right Shift key or the Alt key and type. The letters appear on your screen, but the BlackBerry smartphone translates them into the appropriate numbers when the phone call is made.
For example, to call 1-877-BLK-BERR (1-877-255-2377) from your BlackBerry smartphone,
  1. Open the Phone application.
  2. Type 1877.
  3. Press and hold the Alt or right Shift key and type BLKBERR.
  4. Display the menu and select Call 1877BLKBERR or press Enter. When the phone number is dialed, the letters are converted to numbers on the screen.
  5. To end the phone call, hold down the Escape key.
To return to the Home screen from any other screen, press the End key.
To lock the device, set a password. Hold the * key.
To unlock the device, press the * key. Click Unlock. Type your password.
To lock the keyboard, hold the * key.
To unlock the keyboard, press the * key

To switch the input language, hold the Alt key and press the Enter key. Continue to hold the Alt key and select a language. Release the Alt key to switch to that language.
To switch back to your original input language, press the Alt key + the Enter key.

I hope this helps
