I have a mastercraft model 55-3550-2 Belt and Disc Sander and the belt is worn, Canadian Tire can no longer get replacement parts, do I have to scrap my equipment now, or is there some offshore manufacturere that can supply the belt. It is 15 inches long x 3/8'' wide, with teeth at 6 per inch

If you could tell me what the start capacitor for that 55-3550-2, is that would be awesome. Mine exploded and is unreadable, and there is no information anywhere on the internet that i can find what it is to replace it.

Canadian tire mastercraft parts

If the old tire is not badly damaged, I would glue it on with contact cement and carry on. Is the wheel close to the size of a bike tube? They come in all sizes, and stretch. A little scissors work and you have a new tire.

Will Delta Belt fit Mastercraft Band Saw

If you still have the old belt, take it to a well equipped hardware or auto parts store for a replacement. If the previous belt is missing, you will need to measure the pulley 'V' width at the top of the 'V', the center to center measurement of the two shafts, and the outer diameters of the two pulleys. Hope this helps!

I went to a bearing/powertransmission supplier. The number on the belt was all they needed. Picked up a new belt for $6.50.
