SOURCE: I have an everstar mpk-10cr and it leaks water out
This cap must be in place in all coolers I have seen. Frequently there is a gasket that is identical to the type used on a common garden hose. It needs to be clean and free of cracks. They only cost pennies. I don't understand what you mean by "I plugged it up but water did not go into the normal receptacle."
I will assume you mean that this is a manually filled unit and not attached to a water source. If that is the case give me more details on what you mean.
SOURCE: water going into carpet instead of ac water bucket
I have this air conditioner. What I did was get a long plastic tube from home depot and connect it to the middle back drain. I then put the plastic tube outside my window, or if u have a drain somewhere put it in there or put the end into a big bucket. Let gravity do its job. I did not connect the tube to the internal bucket b/c I would have to empty it too often. The air conditioner is on top of a table so that water will flow down the tube and out the window.

Empty the water tank, located at bottom of unit either left hand side or right hand side, normally removable.
all the best

Simple I believe...just run a weed eater line up the whole in the back where you have the clear tube. You can take the little back door off the power cord area to see inside where the water drips into the little tray before it goes down the hose tube. Water debris sometimes blocks the water from draining properely. The weedeateer line will clear the blockage and it will begin flowing again.

where can i get parts for the everstar mpk-10cr unit
I have the everstar mpk-10cr it only turns on to P1 and flashes a red light which means the water is full and needs to be emptied or that the water tray isn't in properly. This is an issue because neither of those things are true. Does anyone know how to fix it?
