Ok. This will be a bit involved. First go to My Computer, then click on your Program Files, then scroll down to Ahead Nero and delete everything. Once Nero is deleted from Program Files (the DLLs are normally kept there), go to www.filehippo.com and download CCleaner. Install it and click on registry, scan for issues and you will see several Nero issues in the registry. Click on fix all selected issues, and you will be asked to save the issues, click yes or ok and it will save the registry issues to the bottom of your My Documents folder. After saving the registry issues, click fix all selected and let CCleaner fix your registry. CCleaner only fixes registry issues that are considered to be safe fixes.
After you fix the registry, close CCleaner and try to re-install you Nero 7.
Oh, by the way, while you are at FileHippo, check out all of the other free Media Players there; you may find one better than Nero 7.
