Dirt devil hose is always twisted

Are you storing this pool cleaner with the hose coiled? If so, that is likely your problem. You should never coil the hose on these cleaners because it will cause problems with operation. Make sure to lay the hose flat in its original box or out of direct sunlight when you are not using it. If you start stretching it out flat during storage, it should solve the hose problem.

My washer does not spray the cleaner solution as high as it did originally. The high pressure spray is fine.

If your pressure washer works like ours, it has a T connection.
A plastic hose comes off the T and goes into the bucket of cleaner
Pressure from the hose creates suction across the T and this draws cleaner into pressure hose
The plastic hose from cleaner connects to a small brass ball valve on the T
The ball valve clogs up or changes over time and cleaner will not draw up into the pressure hose.
We would replace the valve stem
I don't know if they sell the little replacement parts like they used to

Finally we had so much trouble.
We started applying our chemical with a pump-up sprayer.
For us, it was cheaper, and the work went faster.
We put one guy on the pump up sprayer
And then another guy came behind him on the washer.

My Legend cleaner (8 yrs. old) starts off fine but after a few minutes runs very slowly. any ideas what may be causing this?

First check the metal screen inside the fitting that connects to the pool wall. Make sure it is clean. If there is no inline screen on the feed hose then the jets inside the pool cleaner could be clogging. If there is a screen that keeps getting clogged with debris(like every couple days) then there is a problem with your pool filter or multiport valve that is allowing dirt to pass into the pool cleaner and the pool. Also it could be the back-up valve hanging up(due to a bad bearing or bushing) The back-up valve is the large canister on the feed hose about 3-6 feet above the cleaner. Check for holes in the feed hose and in the cleaner tail.

Krauly gets tangled in the hose constantly and will not untangle

With these pool cleaners, that is almost always going to be a problem with your hose balance. To determine if your balance is correct, turn off the pump and observe the cleaner. Hose balance is correct if the cleaner's seal rests flat on the pool floor and drive tubes make a 45 degree angle with the floor. If the hose rises toward the surface at an angle greater than 45 degrees, move the weights closer to the cleaner or move the first two weights closer to each other. If the hose sags at less than a 45 degree angle, move the weights away from the Kreepy Krauly or separate the first two weights away from each other.

MY POOL CLEANER WILL RUN FOR A FEW MINUTES, THEN STOP. SO METIMES IF I SHAKE THE HOSE IT WILL START AGAIN. ANY ANSWERS?

Hi , most pool cleaners run by the force of the sucked up water moving gears inside the cleaner .. if yours is this way, then any blockage in the cleaner or in the hose attached would restrict the flow and keep the cleaner from moving.

The cleaner will run 1-2 minutes then stop. I can shake the hose & it will start again for another minute or 2. Everything looks to be in place and working. Any suggestions would be appreicated.

First, remove and check diaphragm for cuts or rips. If ok, check hoses for leaks. You can do this by holding hoses one at a time above water level while cleaner is running(or supposed to be running). If there is a leak you will hear it sucking in air. Make sure filter is ok. If a cartridge filter, remove cartridge and run without it in. If cleaner works ok without cartridge either acid wash or replace cartridge.
