Appliance Repair Eagle - Maytag Washer Won't Drain

Maytag Washer Won't Drain Maytag washers are notorious for drain pump failures. The most common complaint is that it won't spin, agitate, or mainly won't do anything. The pump bearing locks up and stops the washer belt from turning. Tilt washer up against the wall, remove belt, and turn each pulley by hand. If it doesn't move, then it's locked up. Remove the front panel and replace pump. Rich Western Appliance Repair
