How can I find a driver for internet explorer on windows xp?

Well internet explorer doesn't have a driver. Drivers are for hardware such as video cards, keyboards and mice, etc. If you are having problems with IE you can try re-installing it or upgrading here:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/download-ie

If you are having trouble connecting to the internet through IE then you may need to update the driver for your network adapter. That is about the best answer I can come up with since there really aren't any details to your problem. Try replying back with your issue and we can take a look at it.

Why I cannot open facebook through all my browsers ; Interner Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox ? when I log in, I get a message says that there is an internet connection error inspite that all other...

Facebook has become an integral part of many people's daily lives by keeping them connected to friends and family, which can make not being able to get on the site quite frustrating. Facebook does experience occasional downtime and other issues, but if you're consistently having problems accessing it, a browsing filter, firewall or outdated software could be the culprit.

Browser Requirements:

You may have problems accessing Facebook if you haven't upgraded your Internet browser in awhile. As of 2011, Facebook recommends using Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3 or Safari 4 for the best user experience. Updates to these browsers are free and can be found at the companies' websites. Some older computers may not be able to run the latest browser version and, therefore, have trouble displaying Facebook and other sites correctly.

Home Blocks:
Home computers also have tools to block certain websites; parents often install them to keep kids' Web activity under control. If this is your situation, you will have to talk to Mom and Dad about unblocking Facebook for you. If you have a PC with multiple user accounts, the "admin" is often the only account with permission to install or uninstall filtering software and extensions; you'll need to be logged into this account to change a filter's settings
.
Firewalls:

Many computers and their antivirus programs now enable firewalls by default. Firewalls help protect your computer from malicious viruses and software, but sometimes they block access to sites you legitimately want to access. If you suspect your firewall is limiting your Facebook access, check the settings in Windows' Control Panel or in the program that enables the firewall, such as your antivirus software or wireless router software. Making the settings more permissible could solve the problem.

My browser will not connect to the internet

Do you have any other internet enabled applications that are connecting properly? If you do have other internet enabled apps and they too are having problems than I would suggest trouble shooting your network connections.

If you are running Windows XP go "Control Panel" and under "PIck a Category" select "Network and Internet Connections". Next select "Network Connections". Right click your network connection and select "Repair". Windows will attempt to repair your network drivers, settings, and reestablish your network connection. If unsuccessful it will attempt provide an error message describing the problem.

If you don't see that option start checking connections along your network cable wiring. A plug may have come out or a cable damaged.

If it is not your network connection or your wiring it is your browser software. Reset your browser back to default settings to repair any changes made by accident by yourself or perhaps a website attempting a browser hijack:

Reset Internet Explorer to the default settings To reset Internet Explorer to the default settings
  1. Close any Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.
  2. Open Internet Explorer.
  3. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
  4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.
  5. Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, and InPrivate Filtering data.
  6. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.
  7. When Internet Explorer finishes restoring the settings, click Close, and then click OK.
  8. Close Internet Explorer. Your changes will take effect the next time you open Internet Explorer.
Hope this helped.

Have you upgraded to IE8 = internet explorer 8? When you comnnect to the internet watch your DSL modem and see if your modemis timing out when you try to connect. this means that the interent light will go out while you are trying to connect to yahoo. Other than that I don't know why it is doing it without being where you are to see it. There are a few othe things to try. Clear out your cookie folder and run your virus checker to see if it is a virus problem and last but it seems like you lost your yahoo drivers or cookies and that's why you are not getting a connection to Yahoo. Is yahoo your main connection page? if so it might be that your home page got hijacked and running a virus checker/spam checker should find it.

Check the privacy settings and see if they are too strict this will cause some sites to not download. In Internet Explorer click tools>Intenet options>privacy. It should be set to medium so no cookies are blocked. If this is ok then yes you are having hardware connectivity problems. You're losing the connection before it can reach the site.

Email links not connecting

Are you sure you cleared the virus? My father had that one, and it blocks access to some web sites (Symantec, for example) until it's completely cleared. It also messes with the system clock, which makes some web sites refuse connection.

When you click on a link does Internet Explorer open and not find the page, or does it just do nothing, or bring up an error?

Having trouble accessing secured websites on my computer

Okay, u gotta try this, in the internet explorer window, go to tools, internet options, click on the security tab, and make it reset all zones to defaul level and hopefully these allows u to enter other sites, and if this does not work then try this, go to the internet explorer window again, tools, internet options, click on the advanced tab, and click on reset. u will have to restart internet explorer for this option to take effect ( close all the internet explorer windows ) and this could work, if this doesnt, then i dont know what to suggest, but i m positive this will fix ur problem.
