With the amp on touch each wire with your finger one at a time. One will buzz on the right and the other on the left, these are the channels. The others are the earths. Put one of the channels on one side and the other on the other, then connect the earths. Try it it out. If the sound doesn't sound right reverse the earth and channel connectors. You will also need a record where you know a voice or instrument is on the left or right to make certain you have the channels the right way round.

I have a peavey Windsor 100 watt head. My problem is obvious. Blown fuse inside. 1.5 amp. I just can't get it out to replace it. It has wires on either side. Glass fuse. How do I get it out?

if the wires are sodered on to yhe ends of the fuse you can carefully cut them right at the fuse but i would hold my sodering tip on the weld and pull the wire off when the solder melts. Unfortunatly you would have to solder a new fuse back in being realy, really carefull about how long u leave the heat on as it could cook the fuse Sounds like a job for a repairman as you dont want to be frying anything else or altering a good amp and if they screw it up they have to take care of it. please let me know how it goes,im curious.

The automatic threader wont pick up and thread needle. Can do manually but thats not easy?

to make manual threading of a needle easy buy a needle threader
it is a instrument that has a very fine piece of wire in a loop that you push through the eye of the needle , put the thread in that loop and pull the loop back out of the eye and the needle is threaded
available from most any shop that sells material , cotton , thread or sewing machine shops
cost --pack of 2 for $1.00 or there abouts

If the wire is green it's a ground wire and can be attached to any metal screw that is near that area

Hello
Your flat panel TVs picture tube base board has soldering loose contact with it. Just unplug your TV from AC mains socket, and open it. Pull out the picture tube base card from the picture tube neck. Pull it out straight, no shake must be there, as it will damage its connecting pins.
Normally, loose sodering are very difficult to loacate, as they will be quite micrscopic in size. Just resolder all the suspected loose sodering point on that board, by applying a little more solder. This will solve your TVs problem. OK.

Phillips 60" Changing STK392-120 Removing board Model#60PP936H/17

Typicaly you can remove the SSB board on the left without having to remove the flyback wires. If however you are trying to remove the entire deck all at once you will need to remove the flyback wires as indicated.

You do not need to use needle nose pliers. Goto the site www.TvRepairKits.com and click on the "Tips" menu. Under that section you will see instuctions on how to remove the HVG/flyback wires.
Hope this helps,

Env issue

Sorry, i have been out and you may not need my help any more but here goes.

When you take apart the envy, the speaker will come out and should go back in no problem. If something comes lose like a wire and needs soldering, its tough on those small parts. you will need a small soder gun, a computer tech store might have one small enough. Also get small soder. There alot of heat involved and soder smoke can be toxic if enhaled alot. try in a wel vented garage or outside. Take the phone apart and do it carefully. Make sure not to melt anything else while sodering.

You get better with experience and i would practice soldering a couple of small wires together for practice first so you get the feel for how soder moves when it turns liquid.

I havent had to soder on a cell phone bwefore. If it has some kind of ribbon instead of a wire, then it may not be possible and you may cause more damage trying.

Its cheaper to have the tech insurance,it has a $50 deductable, just copy all your numbers and files onto the Micro SD, then drop in water, take to verizon and bingo, new one for $50 bucks

Good luck

I can't hear through my internal or external cb speaker

Can you hear static when the squelch is at minimum ?. If you can hear static then tere is nothing wrong with the audio system. If you are sure about the squelch, connect goosd speaker directly to the 2 wires coming from the main board bypassing the speker jack. if there is still no sound then the audio amp chip is defective. The audio amp can only be damaged if the output is shorted for a long period of time.
