Will only build pressure to 100psi of rated 140psi

I believe an A15332 is a pressure switch? If the air compressor is building pressure, then shuting down. It should restart as soon as the pressure switch activates. The pressure switch should do this once the pressure is low enough. It helps to know at what pressures the switch is supposed to open and close. For example 100-125psi. It should stop the air compressor at 125 psi and restart it once the pressure falls to 100psi. If the pressure switch is wired correctly and it's not starting the machine at the rated pressure setting, the switch is bad. Because you have already replaced the pressure switch, I would confirm the wiring. Then the pressure setting. Replace the switch if necessary.

if it is a 11cfm compressor then it produces 11.8 cfm of air regardless of the pressure
pressure has nothing to do with cfm but with the restriction to air flow
for example the tire inflator -air hawk- has a very small cfm but as the tire restrict the air flow the pressure builds up to set pressure on the gauge
so if you want 100psi from the 11.8cfm unit just adjust the pressure switch to shut off at 100psi
Cfm is only important when using air tools as a compressor that is not capable of maintaining the cfm thereby the pressure to run the tools is not a good idea
as an example
a sand blaster that uses 11.8 cfm at 100 psi will not work on your compressor
that unit will require a 20cfm compressor to run it peoperly

as long as the cylinder moves pressure will build up.but you will need to change gaskets on the cylinder

It is adjustable. Remove the square cover nut and adjust the spring tension. . It would be best to lower to 110-115 psi. The compression rings will thank you for it..

My CW210500SJ is rated to shut the compressor off at 125psi but it shuts off at 140psi. Did you resolve your question?

The pressure switch (on / off switch) must be adjusted or has failed. A qualified Bostitch Technician can determine if the switch can be adjusted or must be replaced. Each model is different and without the model number I cannot give you a more precise answer.

I think you are correct with the motor problem but without the model number it hard to know what set up you have.

don't know what model you have. They are all pretty similar tho. Look for the regulator should have a cover on it with a single nut in the center of the cover holding it on.Under the cover is a diaphragm and a spring. tighten the adj. on the spring the compressor will shut off at higher pressure. You don't want to exceed the max rating (ie: if is suppose to shut down at 100psi don't try to go higher.)

Before you adjust the perssure switch, make sure that the intank check valve is not leaking pressure back to the pressure switch after it cuts off at 140psi. The check valve should hold pressure at 140psi. Follow the discharge airline to the tank to find the checkvalve (either chrome or brass with large cap). To check for leaking valve, run compressor till shut-off at 140, then unplug the compressor from wall and remove the 1/4 air fitting at the checkvalve and check for leak. If leaking, replace valve and leave the pressure switch at present setting. You should be good to go. Good Luck with your repair and email if you have questions.

The pressure switch will trip off when the compressor reaches the rated setting (usually 120 ~150psi). If the compressor keeps running untill the safety pops releasing air (usually about 160psi) then the switch is most likely problem. I use SquareD switch from WWW.Grainger.com. However if the compressor keeps running but never pops the safety and only reaching around 90 to 100psi, then you could have several other issues including: leaking fittings (check with soapy water), worn cylinder and piston (on oilfree compressor examine cylinder from below and look for scratches), leaking valves on oil type compressor.
