A P2 error code indicates that the bottom basin is full. There is a small submersible aquarium pump in the basin that is supposed to pump the water from there to the drain bucket. One of four problems is occurring:
1. You have so much humidity that the pump can't keep up. (not likely)
2. You have a stuck/faulty sensor switch above the drain bucket. (not likely)
3. You have a bad pump. (possible, but not really likely)
4. The filter material that allows the water from the basin to the pump is clogged. (most likely)
The easiest way to tell if its the filter is after the code comes on you let it sit, then turn it back on. When you do you should here a quick splash of water into the drain bucket. That's the pump pumping the water that made it through the filter while it sat.
Unfortunately, getting to this filter sucks. You need to take the front and back off, then take out the drain bucket housing. The filter is underneath there. Wash it out thoroughly, then flip it upside down (to use the part that is still new) and put it back in. Your AC unit should be good to go.
