Unfortunately, AutoDesk does not make a Mac OS version of AutoSketch. The company hasn't updated the Windows version since the XP/Vista 32-bit release so I suspect they no longer have any intention of supporting the product for additional platforms. They do have versions of AutoCad and AutoCad LT for the Mac OS.

This site, http://www.applecad.com/cad-for-mac/ , may have some products that will fit your needs. The links to 2D drawing products will be the most similar to AutoSketch.

(I've used TurboCad for Windows; that software does offer a version for the Mac OS. It's useful when you don't need the features of AutoCad/ AutoCad LT.)

Questions:
Which version of Windows are you using?
Are you using 64 bit AutoCAD on a 64 bit computer?

What is the error? Are you running Norton or Mcafee virus programs? These have been known to interfere with AutoCAD (older versions).

Issue:

When you try to start AutoCAD, you briefly see the splash screen and the program does not start.

Solution:

This behaviour can be caused by corrupted license information.
Please check if there are any errors listed in the ACD2010ENGAdlm.log file in the folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Adlm (Windows XP)

or

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ADLM (Windows Vista) (Please note the file name may be slightly different for localized product versions, for example for the German version the file name is ACD2010-DEUAdlm.log)
If the log file shows errors regarding the product information table file, for example "Unable to locate the Product Information Table File" or "Product Information Table file is not found", you will need to:

1. Uninstall all installed 2010 products
2. Delete the ADLM folder mentioned above, and
3. Reinstall the products

Autodesk not offering direct download of autocad 2010 products, they offer product downloads for register users ofr trial versions.
But you can download autocad 2010 from torrents, but they not supports for updates.
