Mdb7601aws dishwasher door drops down

The door on my Maytag MDB7601AWS dishwasher falls down when I open the door.I have already purchased door springs but am not sure how to replace door springs or whether some other parts might be damaged.

    I removed the spring and wire cable assemblys on my Maytag dishwasher and cannot for the world of me figure out how to replace them. I have read through the owners manual, and installation manual and it mentions nothing due to the fact that it comes pre-installed when you purchase the unit.



    Please help as I am lost.



    my only other option is to go to H-Depot or Lowes and look at a new unit and copy it, I cannot believe that I cannot find it on line..

When I searched the parts list for your dishwasher, I only found the door panel available in white but call the manufacturer and ask them because I believe you may be able to change to stainless.
