have a technician check it out as it may be a board problem
normally the fill level switch ,when the set water level is reached activates 2 things
it stops the water in and at the same time moves the program on to start the wash cycle
so it is either that switch or the program board
sounds like you have a problem with the main control board. you can order a new one from appliancerepair.com and if it turns out not to be the problem they allow you to return it for a full refund. great company!
try running the test cycle or running delicate economy in that cycle it gets up to 150 degrees in the very first cycle let it run 15 or 20 min see if the water is screaming hot it is not and Luke warm it is not heating it is most likely a control board heaters very rarely go out
Possible a bad motor control board. Depending on the age of the washer, you may need to replace the motor control board and the motor as a kit. Also be sure to test that the motor control board is getting power, I've seen cases of the motor/ motor control failing and taking out the main control also. The tech sheet is in the console and should walk you through the steps.
hi there have you checked that the drain pump is pumping out the water fast ehough, sounds like you may have a blockage problem and the programe is timeing out ie. not draining within the specified time, for example 3 mins
if it hums when you are in the wash phase then something is jamming the wash impeller like broken glass tooth pick found a necklace in one one time i think replacing the control board fixed the other problems on most washers the drain pump is separate from the wash motor haven't worked on bosch so not sure take off the lower spray arm and go down till you get to the impeller then do what you have to do clear it or replace wash motor
In sounds to me like you have a motor issue. We have found that on these particuliar models, that the motor tries to run in both speeds at the same time. If you already replaced the control board, then you will have to get a new motor kit. This kit includes directions as well as a new wiring harness and start capacitor. You would have to remove the old motor and rewire the wiring harness (instructions included with the kit) and add the new start capacitor (instructions also included). Job is'nt really that hard to do. Front cover would be all you would need to remove to get to all the parts. Good luck and let me know how it turns out or if you need any additional help. Jim
