X6dh8-g2+ no video continous beep

Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/xeon800/E7520/X6DH8-G2.cfm

Try to boot with only one stick of ram at the time, to find the failing ram module.

This is usually caused by a problem with the system memory, or possibly the video card. The memory is more likely--the system complains long and loud sound, if it can't find any usable memory, as there is no way to even start the boot process when this is the case. The motherboard itself could also be the problem.

The mainboard is useing Up to 16GB DDR2 RAM.

Try not to buy cheap ram, they are always failing.

Good luck

SuperMicroX6DH8-xg2 no POST beep no Video I remove RAM and reseatd RAM but still no POST

If it's 1 long and 2 short beeps it's a video controller error. Check the warranty status and RMA if possible: http://www.supermicro.com/support/rma/

If it's 1 repetitive long beep, it means that no memory is detected. Try booting with only 1 stick of RAM. Try different dimm slots to see if you can isolate the issue. You may have a few modules that do not want to work together, a bad stick of RAM, or a defective dimm slot.

Beep sound heard when powered ON

This is the Bios's way of telling something is either missing or not plugged in correctly, for example if there is no memory module it will beep in a certain way, the same for the graphics card. Check google to find out BIOS beep codes.
