SO OUR LAST WASHING MACHINE DID THE SAME THING FOR A WHILE THEN BROKE DOWN. A FRIEND SOLD ME A USED OLD KENMORE AND IT WAS FINE FOR A FEW WEEKS BUT IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN. NOT ALL THE TIME BUT AFTER THE FINAL SPIN THE WATER TRICKLES INTO THE WASHER. I HAVE TO TURN THE WATER OFF SO THE MY CLOTHES DON'T GET SATURATED BEFORE I THROW THEM INTO THE DRYER
Not too familiar with top loaders. With front loaders good pressure is required to keep the inlet valve closed, when not in operation. If the pressure is not there water leaks even when the machine is off. The problem cld be with the pressure from your faucet or your inlet valve; mysterious why it happens after the final spin, & your second machine.... I can't be of much help here. You hv to surf......

no it is a 2000 top loader. it never leaks until the final spin is over then when i go to get my clothes out i find that the water has been leaking slowly i have to turn the water off and re spin. now this happened with my last washer and it eventually broke.
Is this a front loader, you shd hv mentioned.
