I have a JVC G40 DVD home theater system and when I play DVD's the voice and picture don't match up. Specifically, Peoples lips move and then a second later what they say is heard...how do I fix this?

When viewing on Digital TV:-
Sometimes Audio and Video signal can not be transmitted simultaneously due to additional process time for the video signal compared to that of the audio signal.
Often video signal takes more time than the audio signal to convert from analogue signal to digital signal in the Digital TV.
It may result in mismatch of the picture and sound.
In the TH-G30/40's HD AV Sync menu, you can adjust the audio signal delay for simultaneous AV signal transmission
1. Delay time can be varied in 10msec steps.(0 to 300ms)
2. Delay time is different between TV Brands.
So you need to adjust the delay time for correct lip-sync.
The adjustment is listed in the instruction book page12

Hi, I have a pair of sunglasses,ie;mobile eyewear recorder and I canot understand how to operate the camera. The instructions are very unclear. The mp3 audio operates properly, however I'm not sure which...

the interface is slow and push/hold style interface... hold is either 1 second like volume, or 3 seconds like power on off... you will also find that the time intervals for things to react is about the same except is 3 to 7 seconds but that is only moderately annoying. also just so you know the mode button automatically changes you back to MP3 Player mode, but that is only the first time you press it while on another mode. the camera has a 7 count between picture taking capabilities and takes pictures with the camera mode button as the shutter (picture taking button). the video has a three second delay before you start recording but then it works ok.

Using logitech 9000 with google video chat, 5 second sound delay

Normal 0 Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype set it up as follows:

  1. Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  2. Then click on the Video Settings.
  3. The camera if installed properly will come up and show a picture.
  4. Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now see and talk to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger set it up as follows:

  1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
  2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
  3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.
Hope this helps. Bud

Aim Conversations Delayed

Check the format that you are using for your voice and your videos to make sure they are are the same. You can also check the quality of it to make sure it is not slowing down the voice more than the video.

Slow Motion

Normal 0 How much memory is installed in your computer? The camera uses quite a bit of your memory to operate properly and would cause the poor video. Could be other
Issues, but worth checking.

Sound delay!

It's more than likely a slow connection dependant on each persons speed, and the more people on line the more bandwidth gets taken up, it's like at peak times trying to stuff a sausage down a straw so to speak. Also make sure that there are no other programmes running in the background taking up processor and memory usage, this also slows the connection.
