Yes it does this dryer has two motors in it.and the blower motor does fail alot on the older harmony dryers.
No normally the blower is not driven by a belt, it is a motor with a blower wheel attached on the end of it...if the blower motor is not working then you will have to replace the blower motor
The noise coming from the drum is probably caused by faulty drum rollers either they have flat spots on them or they are in need of lubrication. To lube the bearing use a good grade of machine oil such as 3inOne.
If your model does not have drum rollers then it maybe the rear bearing is getting noisy and needs replacement.
The burning smell may be coming from the drum belt slipping, or maybe if the blower is not working properly, then it could be the lint inside of the dryer or worse, in the vent tubing starting to burn...could be a fire hazard if both are not cleaned out.
