My display on my motorola razr v3 just went black and I cant get it to come back on? Any ideas?
Either your flex cable is broken or came loose. Is the top left hinge button still intact? Is it loose at the hinge? You will need a Torx 4 screwdriver to take the LCD screen apart to check the flex cable inside.
I have 2 razors and they both went out but with one of 'em i shut it off and charge it with the charger chargin it and took out the battery and the screen went on and then put the battery back in and the screen was on. I'm just doin this til next month so i can get another one. Don't shut the phone though or you'll have to do it again. Or try it and see it might not. Mines did though
My screen is messed up how weird how this all happend in june datz crazy how do u get it fixed besides buying a new one or going to verizon and geting a whole new cell which is $$$

Yeah exactly the same as you guys. Just sent a text and the display went out and won't come back on again. Can still receive calls and dial out but obviously can't access the phonebook

Inside screen went black, no root cause, outside screen still works. Tried to reset the phone with no luck.
Both the inside and outside LCD are gone. Everything else works fine. Any ideas on how to repair it myself???

my display went out on my V3. It stll works but can't see any of my numbers or contact. ******** at phone company saved all my contacts to phone and not on the sim. How do I extract my contact info from my phone without a working display. I plugged in a sync cord to my computer, but nothing happens.
