I just purchased the maytag 45 pint dehumidifier. I am using it in my basemeant which is about 700 square ft. What do I set the digitals on?

This model holds 45 pints, or 22.5 quarts.

then you can sort through to the owners manual, it didnt solve my issue, and it wouldnt let me upload the service manual

Well life span is 3-15 years depends how long and hard you run them. 45 pint is about 1000sqft basment. rule of thumbs bigger better. run less and do a better job. Most of the time you set @55% RH. But on most Portable dehumidifiers you dont have a setting that tell you percent. Set about 1/2 way and see how much water it put out. That is about 60%. Go from there. Rus

A dehumidifier takes water out of the air so you don't put water in it. Give me the entire model # from the sticker on the unit and I will see if I can get info on it for you.
