It is made by Casio and It uses regular cash register paper. I'll try to blow out the dust with air blower and see if that'll help. Thank you, nina

AFTER A SALE HAS BEEN RUNG UP ON THE REGISTER THE E94 POPS UP IN THE WINDOW , AND THEN WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO OPEN DRAWER OR ANY OTHER FUNCTION. SOMETIMES TURNING IT OFF , THEN BACK ON HELPS???

Who is the PRC made by? If it's using thermal paper it could possibably be paper dust on the paper sensor.

E94 errors - paper jam can be cleared by removing battery back-up and replacing them. The error appears to be retained in the memory.

You have printer failure. Check for any paper jams in the printer. Otherwise, the printer may need replacing.

Casio pcr-265 e94 what is the error and how do i fix it

Hello,

On the PCR-265, error e94 is caused by jammed printer paper.
1. Remove jammed paper.
2. Turn Mode switch to OFF, then turn to ON.
or
Turn Power OFF and then turn power ON.

There's an online manual for the PCR-265B register [ pdf file, that can be read with Adobe Reader ]:
http://www.casio4business.com/sa/products/downloads/manuals/other_models/PCR265PB_E0203A.pdf
note:
The additional letter B, could mean this printer has extra/other options.

Hi - I had gotten an E94 message on my PCR-260B cash register - no paper jams as I changed the register tape and cleared away any debris. I also replaced the 3 batteries below the register tape - E94...

The printer has a fault. It is common in the little cheap machines as this printer is prone to failure within a few years. Take it to a Casio dealer to have the printer serviced.

E94 on the screen od casio pcr 260B

You have printer failure. Look for paper jams or any other problem that will stop the printer from turning. Otherwise, you may need to get the printer repaired if it has sensor failure.
