Motorola karma. Only the red key works, none of the others is recognized. Took battery out, no help

Hi, You may try to use to use a different charger that will fit in to your phone or a different battery. It might be a failure on the battery.

There was a known power issue with the Sidekick Slide. Motorola recognized the issue and say the fix was creating extra bumpers to keep the battery from sliding around. You may have one that does not have the extra bumpers and therefore your battery contact is weak.

First, make sure you are using a Motorola brand charger. No other chargers work with Motorola phones, even the cheapy ones from gas stations that claim they do. I would then check to make sure the battery is not swollen. If the battery is swollen, it is bad and needs to be replaced. Next, check to see if the phone has any water damage. Under the battery there is a white dot that turns pink/red if it comes in contact with moisture.

So the phone I have is the motorola hint, QA30, actually identical in design (except square, red and black) and I have similar problems, my right navigator (right shoulder) and my up and left buttons, as well as my send button, will randomly stop working, I find (in all seriousness, no joke) that sometimes hitting the phone (lightly of course) seems to get the buttons to work again,

I took out the battery and stuck it in the freezer for a half hour or so, this worked, but only temporarily. then it would go back to the same status. After that, I took out the battery and left it under my laptop for a half hour (our laptop is always hot). This worked and my phone has worked perfect since then.

Verizon told me to get a new phone, too, but don't do it until you try this.

I had a common problem which none of my keys worked except the "off" key. I baked my phone in the oven on the lowest setting for 20-30 minutes and it works now. It is a humidity issue.

Your phone might have water damage. I had the same problem I took the battery out. I took a blow dryer and blowed dryed all of the keys. Try this is might work

First when ya call connects, hit the Menu key (three lines inthe center) choose USE HANDSET.
Second Make sure the Bluetooth is fully charged, andit seems to lose charge fast.
