I have a Satellltie Pro laptop with the Teac DW-28E cd/dvd. I need to copy some files. I bought Memorex Ultra Speed CD-RW rewritable disc 24x 700mb. My laptop does not see this disc, but it will function with other cd's. Is this a compatabilty issue?

Given my experience with memorex blanks, i think that you should just switch to another brand....memorex made great tape....the cd blanks are another story. I recommend, if you can find them, FUJI blanks that are made in Japan; they have a reputation as some of the best.

I think that Teac DV-28e Is a CD/DVD-ROM only, and will not burn discs. Teac DW-28e is a CD RW/ DVD ROM unit, and will thus play and burn CDs, but will only play DVDs. Check your model numbers to confirm, and then consider exchanging units if you need to burn CDs.

If it is a laptop drive, check for online videos in disconnecting the drive for the PC. Reconnect and try again. A little loose contact might be the problem.

Sorry two different issue's, i'm using an external keyboard.
my cd driver can't see a blank cd, I tried differense cd.So i can't burn my music.
