Is quick heal is better than norton or which antivirus is better in dealing with virus

hi,
any anti-virus is good for your computer as long as it is compatible with the requirements of your operating system (OS). If you have internet and networking connection it is reliable to use norton anti-virus or avira anti-virus..Hope this may help you.

How to upgrade from Vista Basic to Vista Premium.

You need a Vista premium disk to upgrade to Vista premium.

Just instert the Vista premium disk and start the installation.

If installation does not start, you will need to boot from setup CD, sometimes you have to change the bios boot sequence in bios settings, to start the installation from CD.

Vista and Virus/Spyware Software

Hi
There is a huge range of anti - virus software out there. The main decision is whether you want to pay for it or not.

If you want complete security, I would recommend you read this guide. It gives you the run down of the best ways to fight infection.

If you want something lightweight then I would go with avast antivirus. The free version provides anti virus, anti spyware and anti Rootkit. With this installed you can pretty much forget about security problems. And it's free!

However, if you want the best there is I'd go for NOD32 - it frequently scores as the best product.

If you're looking for something that should work seamlessly with your operating system with a fantastic user interface then Windows Live Onecare along with Windows Defender might be for you, though I can't promise them being lightweight on the system resources.

This site provides a run down of all the best free scanners for every type of infection. Even if you choose to pay for something I'd recommend using the Trojan and Rootkit scanners that are suggested there - just yesterday they allowed me to locate and destroy a Rootkit that got past my protection.

Hope this is helpful to your decision.
