You must have been provided with a user guide/manual along with Bose 321 system . Follow the instructions on Set up 4 at page 12 wherein details have been given to connect HDMI cable along with the diagrams.

You can connect your iPod to your Bose V30 using an ipod dock, or simply
with a mini-jack (headphone jack) to RCA cable plugged into your V30's
Audio-In ports.
Your TV may not likely be compatible with your Bose System.You may have to try your Bose System with another TV to know if it's a compatible issue or a video fault in the Media Center
