I have a Kenmore Dishwasher. Model Number 665. Serial Number 15762000. Stock Number FL4413201 Type 280-1 15762 The tag that lists these numbers is a little confusing. The numbers are to the right of the words but don't line up directly, so perhaps all the "numbers" above are shifted down one? Problem: Today (10/07/10) my dishwasher stopped working...for no apparent reason. I inherited the dishwasher when I bought the house about 3 1/2 years ago. I don't know of any extended warranty. When I select the cycle button it lights (like normal). When I select the Start button it lights, (like normal) but it never actually starts....? That is all I know at this time. Suggests?... Thanks

Yes you can surely do it yourself..its just unplugging a few wires remove the old one and just install the new one..
I couldn't find the model number you have specified, but you can give these guys a call and specify ask for a new touchpad for kenmore 16372. They will ship it out for you.. I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.

Ditto here!  Same blinking light.  Repair guy said we need new computer board and heating circuit for $350 (and it cost me $60 to get this BS assessment).  I just tried the button sequence and ... wah lah! ... all better.  THANK YOU!!!
