Purchased. the KONAKI DIGITAL TOUCH PERSONAL MEDIA PLAYER cdt-4 and it arrived today several questions: 1-how do you turn off the item so it does not continue to play 2-According to the manual there is supposed to be an installer on the CD but the files on the CD do not match the description in the manual. [Not sure if I really NEED the software - this is just an observation.] 3-there is a slot on the bottom of the unit poorly covered by an ill-fitting rubber strip which leaves the slot somewhat open. What is that slot for? 4-Is there a warranty? and for how long and instructions on where to send item to. thank you

SOURCE: A SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player problem regarding the install cd!

First remove the Sansa from computer if you have attached it. 1. Open your Sansa mp3 player menu (with menu button next to volume control) 2. Choose settings 3. Choose USB 4. Change setting under USB from 'Auto Detect' to 'MSC' 5. Exit menu with menu button Plug your Sansa into computer with USB cable. You can now see the mp3 player as external drive, and you can drag mp3 files into it. Put your files into Sansa's Audible folder.

Slots 1 & 2 are channel 1 slots 3 & 4 are channel 2, you need matching sets in each channel to run dual channel mode.

Need help on downloading music and others things to my Mp player, and want to knw if i nedd the cd driver to get the help or what do i need to do

When your device is connected, go to my computer if you are using a pc, then you should see a drive listed with your device on it. Double click to open up the folder. You should now see your mp3 folder. Leave this window open. Now take and open up your music folder and drag the songs from the music folder over to the drive folder with your device on it.
If your device is not being detected, then you will need to download the latest drivers which can be downloaded from the manufacture's website and are more up to date then the driver cd.

SONGS

Music will only play if they are in the correct format (MP3) . Are you using Itunes? or similar, if not and you are simply taking songs from a CD or your PC library they are not MP3 bfiles ut audio files instead they will not play. Software like Itunes converts songs into MP3.
