You need to connect it to a mixer first and from there to an amp/speaker combo. This microphone needs phantom power and you can only get it via the mixer. Also, you can control the volume via the mixer. Depends on what kind of speaker you have (active or passive) you will need an amplifier. If you're trying to plug it into a guitar amp, it won't work without a mixer. Plug the 3-prong xlr male cable into the input of the mixer. The 3-prong female xlr end goes into the mic.

How to wire a plug

In USA, Either the male or female plug connector would be wired the same. Black is hot wire and would connect to the BRASS colored round head screw ( Smallest flat prong or slot ). White is the neutral wire and would connect to the SILVER colored round head screw ( Largest flat prong or slot ). Green is the ground wire and would connect to the GREEN screw ( ONLY HEX shaped screw ). 1) FOR YOUR LIFE SAFETY, ALWAYS USE 3-WIIRE PLUGS WHEN REPAIRING 3-WIRE EXTENSION CORDS! 2) Check the male plug connector. It should have two flat and one rounded prong. The rounded prong is the ground wire connection. If the ground prong is missing, replace the plug. 3) Inspect the outer cover for damage. 4) Do not use cords with damaged outer covers. Taping over the damage is not an adequate repair, for safety, replace the cord.

I would like to know what adapter (DVI to VGA Cable Adapter) I need to connect to a Macintosh G4. Thanks

Without knowing what Model Number of MAC G4 you're referring to, I can only give you generic information.

If your MAC G4 has a DVI port it is generally the female style.
The DVI connector on the adapter will need to be a male DVI style.

The VGA end of the adapter will be either male, or female. Most VGA connectors on a monitor cable have a male VGA end.

(The DVI end will have the pins sticking out on the adapter. The VGA end will have the socket holes)

Also stated as the monitor cable end will be a DVI male. The port {Connection} on the computer is a VGA female)

Example of a DVI male to VGA female adapter,

http://sewelldirect.com/dviaftovgam.asp

Barring that you need the other style of DVI to VGA adapter, (DVI female on the monitor cable, VGA male on the computer), this is an example,

[ Note* The newer VGA connectors are also known as an HD-15 connector.
More information on the Video Graphics Array connector,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector

More information on the DVI connector styles, and the Digital Visual Interface technology,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface

If you should find all of this confusing, simply state in a Comment as to what connector is on the end of the monitor cable, and what connector is at the computer.

State whether the connectors are Male (Pins sticking out), or Female (Socket holes)

Changing cable port

The monitor is a Fujitsu VL-15DX5G. 15 inch LCD.

The monitor cable uses a female DFP20 connector.
(Display Port 20-pin)

http://auction.thumbnail.image.rakuten.co.jp/@0_auc/image50/cb/4a/00010523850/a1/85/img00149858603.jpg

So you need a male DFP20 to male DVI-D adapter, or adapter cable.

DFP20 Male to plug into the monitor cable, and Male DVI-D (Dual) to plug into the graphics card's, female DVI-D connection.

So far, all I have found from a quick search is a Male DFP20 to Female DVI-D adapter, such as this example,

http://www.worldofcables.com/store/viewitem.asp?idproduct=768

Of course this won't do.

IF, this is all that's available for DFP20 adapters, you'll need an adapter of Male DVI-D to Male DVI-D, also. (Yes, I am aware of how crazy that sounds)

(It would appear, adapters are sold to connect a normal DVI-D monitor cable, {Male}, to a computer with a female DFP20 connector)

Should your searching only find DVI-D female to DFP20 male adapters, or adapter cables, then here is an example of a DVI-D male to DVI-D male adapter,

http://www.kvconnection.com/product-p/m-sgc-dvid-mm.htm

(DVI-D male to DVI-D male cable would probably be better as there would be less strain on the graphics card's DVI-D connection)

I have a samsung NC10. I have connected to my TV via the PC cable. I can see the screen but here no sounds. I have connected the red/yellow/white audio cable to the tv. It has a jack plug on the other end....

The cable you are using is a rca audio/video cable. The colors translate to:
  • red=audio,right
  • white=audio,left
  • yellow=composite video
Your laptop headphone input uses a ⅛′ (3.5 mm) mono and stereo (TRS).

You need a Stereo 3.5mm mini phone plug male to 2 RCA female connectors.

How to connect?

Get a three-way aerial connector for the back of your TV. It'll only cost you about £1. All it is, is an extra aerial socket where you can attach you dvd player.
It has 2 Female and 1 Male connector on it. You put the Male connector into your TV where the aerial goes. Then plug in your Aerial into one of the Female connections. Then plug in your dvd player via the coaxial lead ( not a scart lead) into the other Female connection. And turn on your dvd player and tune your Tv to pick up the dvd player. And hopefully that's it.
The connector your after look like a triangle shape with three metal bits sticking out where you plug in your Tv/dvd cables
Hope this helps

The Charger has a standard two pronged plug to go into the wall. The other end goes into the camera at the back bottom. You will see the female received for the male plug.
